Fudge Brownies with Canned Raspberries

 

Honestly, my favourite brownie recipe is the one on the back of the FRY’S Premium Cocoa can.  They are fudgy with just the right amount of chewy texture. Try these brownies topped with vanilla ice cream and home canned raspberries for a delicious treat.

Fry’s fudgey brownies

Ingredients

1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 cup butter
1 cup Fry’s cocoa
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 ½ tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions

  1. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt in a small bowl. 

  2. Melt butter in a large saucepan. Remove from heat.

  3. Stir in cocoa.  Blend in sugar, eggs and vanilla.

  4. Blend in dry ingredients and nuts. 

  5. Pour batter into greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch rectangular baking pan. Bake in preheated 350°F oven 30 to 35 minutes or until done.  Cool.
